For a standard ring, the size should feel comfortably secure without being difficult to slide over the knuckle. Wider bands can feel more snug than narrow bands, so you may prefer a slightly larger size for wider designs.

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend selecting the larger size, particularly for wider rings or rings intended to be worn over the knuckle.

Bangles are generally measured by their inside diameter rather than wrist circumference. The bangle must be large enough to pass over the hand comfortably.

Pendant necklaces are sized according to the total chain length as well as the dimensions of the pendant itself. A larger pendant can sit lower than a smaller pendant on the same length chain.

Stud earrings are designed to sit close to the ear. Their dimensions are generally described by the diameter or overall width of the design.

Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the base of your finger where the ring will sit. Alternatively, wrap a narrow strip of paper or string around the finger, mark where the ends meet and measure the resulting length against a ruler.

Make sure the measurement is comfortable and allows the ring to pass over the widest part of the knuckle.

Wider rings, bracelets and cuffs can feel more fitted than narrow designs even when they have the same nominal measurement. If you prefer a more relaxed feel, consider the next available size where appropriate.
